How To Set Up a Successful Pre-order

We know that it can be tough to get your members excited about a pre-order. But don't worry—we've got you covered!
Here are some of the best ways to make sure you get maximum exposure for your pre-order:

Pick a design that will resinate with your gym community. Think size of logo and wearability. You want people to wear these items in and out of the gym. If you are struggling with designs or logos our team can help you come up with some awesome ideas.

      Pro tip
      • Keep it simple! If you have a lot of different items, it can be hard to fulfill quantities, so stick with just one or two styles at first.
      • Make sure everything looks good together - if you're offering tops and bottoms, keep the logo consistent.
Encourage people to try on the gear during classes so that they can see how well it fits and how comfortable it is before ordering.

      Pro tip
      • Include this in your class announcements. One quick reminder can impact pre-order numbers in a big way.
      • Turn pre-order sign ups into a game! This could be a giveaway for all those who pre-order or do less reps in a workout. Have fun and get creative.
Make sure you are sharing about the pre-order on all your platforms. You want everyone in your gym to see all the awesome gear, so use those platforms wisely and often.

      Pro tip
      • Our team provides all templates for social media, email and posters. all you need to do it post.
      • Print enough posters to canvas your whole gym. Do you have a community board? Make sure to remember to post on there.
      • Be strategic as possible with commutation - have people in your gym model the gear and share it on social media.

      Tips from gym owners

      CrossFit Advantage

"For the most part they kind of just sold themselves. I think people loved that the style was different from what we usually do and we had never done joggers before so those were a hit."

      Bethany Looney

      Duratus CrossFit

"We had our samples in our mezzanine area, but hung up where everyone in a class could see them. In addition we posted 4-5 times during the two week pre-order period, reminding people to try stuff on and get their orders in."
